Started to get serious on training. My plan is to get my base works done before i focus on my speed. In this way, i can prevent any unnecessary injuries.
Week1 mileage: 58.7 km Time: 4 hr 50 min
My target is to reach 90 km by Feburary. I was running a bit too fast this week, my calves were very tight. Most of my runs were very close to my marathon PB pace. I will need to step back a bit on this week as i may not be ready for the pace. I am afraid that the shin splint injury may hit me if i push on.
My long run last week was shortened as i did not prepare for the run. I suffered under the hot sun without any water. I will make it this week.
